International Thespian Society

Students have the opportunity to be inducted into our local troupe 7900 of the International Thespian Society. The Thespian Society strives to give young adults a place for outstanding theatre where the standards of excellence in theatre arts will be advanced, and to honor those students who do theatre well. It continues to be guided by the principles of its founders: a belief that participation in the arts is an essential means of widening students' cultural horizons and enriching their lives. Students participate in theatrical activities beyond those of the drama club's mainstage productions. Students work on community outreach projects and work on thematic projects based on the productions throughout the year. Students also have opportunities to gain service points through a variety of ways and climb the ranks of the International Thespian Society to reach the Thespian Honor Society and the Thespian International Honor Society.
