Deadline to Apply - Thursday, April 9th at 3:00 pm!

Please contact Mr. Kerrigan with any questions, thank you for applying!! Once you have all applications completed, please drop them off to Mr. Kerrigan in the guidance office.

1. Carefully review the criteria for the following list of scholarships and select those scholarships to which you will apply.

2. Click on the scholarship name to access the application. Complete the full application for each scholarship which you are applying to. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS CLOSELY. Some scholarships follow a separate timeline/process, make sure to take note on the requirements section.

3. DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME anywhere on the application unless directed to do so. Scholarships that require you to put your name will be indicated with (NAME REQUIRED). Instead of names - most scholarships will use your Student Number which can be found on RealTime on the top banner. Your Student Number must be placed on every document of your application. Contact Mr. Kerrigan if you can't find your ID number.

4. Contact your Guidance Counselor or Mr. Kerrigan if you need assistance completing your Academic Résumé.

5. Make sure to include mandatory essays included at the end of each scholarship application. Be sure to make each essay unique to each scholarship and don't use AI!

6. Please bring completed applications to Mr. Kerrigan in guidance. When you bring your applications, you will have to fill out a google form indicating which scholarships you are applying to.

Available Scholarships

MVCA scholarship	Must have attended MVCA programs (summer camp, before/aftercare, broadway afterschool, etc.)
Anne Youtz Athletic Scholarship	Candidates should have participated in at least one sport for all four years of high school. • Those connected to athletic teams, such as student managers, also are eligible for the scholarship and encouraged to apply. • Candidates should embody the ideals and values of sportsmanship: honesty, integrity, civility, selflessness, kindness, compassion, and class. • The selection of the scholarship recipients is based on the applicants’ commitment to sports and sportsmanship. • Submit a 300-500-word essay. • Submit the High School Athletic Participation form
The Anthony and Kellie Ventricelli Scholarship	Must be a Mount Olive High School student Student must be developing their trade by furthering their education at a vocational school
Cross Country Scholarship	Graduating senior who is enrolled in an institute of higher learning for the fall of 2026. Such institutions may include any 2- or 4-year college/university, technical school, or vocational school. Athlete must have been registered and participated on the Cross Country team for a minimum or 2 years (including their senior year). Outdoor Track & Field and Indoor Track & Field are separate seasons and are not part of this scholarship. Exceptions to this would be transfer students Athlete’s parents/guardians must be an active member of the Mount Olive Cross Country Program’s Parent Association. Active membership is defined as paying the membership dues each year the applicant has been a registered participant of the Mount Olive Cross Country Program with a minimum of 2 years. Exceptions to this would be transfer students The athlete must be in good standing with the team i.e., must not have been suspended from participating on the team for various team or school infractions that go against proper student-athlete conduct as outlined by team and school rules. Completed and submitted the entire application (Parts 1, 2, 3, 4) by the designated due date April 9.
Duplissis Family Scholarship	Student must be entering a trade/job/trade school and write essay on how money would assist in purchasing tools or uniform.
Indoor Track and Field Scholarship	Graduating senior who is enrolled in an institute of higher learning for the fall of 2026. Such institutions may include any 2- or 4-year college/university, technical school, or vocational school. Athlete must have been registered and participated on the Indoor Track & Field team for a minimum or 2 years (including their senior year). Cross Country & Outdoor Track & Field are separate seasons and are not part of this scholarship. Exceptions to this would be transfer students Athlete’s parents/guardians must be an active member of the Mount Olive Indoor Track & Field Program’s Parent Association. Active membership is defined as paying the membership dues each year the applicant has been a registered participant of the Mount Olive Indoor Track & Field Program with a minimum of 2 years. Outdoor Track and Field Scholarship	● Graduating senior who is enrolled in an institute of higher learning for the fall of 2026. Such institutions may include any 2- or 4-year college/university, technical school, or vocational school. Athlete must have been registered and participated on the Outdoor Track & Field team for a minimum or 2 years (including their senior year). Cross Country & Indoor Track & Field are separate seasons and are not part of this scholarship. Exceptions to this would be transfer students Athlete’s parents/guardians must be an active member of the Mount Olive Outdoor Track & Field Program’s Parent Association. Educators Association of Mount Olive Scholarship	Academic achievement, community involvement, and student must have intended major of education.
Ernest DiCicco Sr. Scholarship	*To apply for the Scholarship, please follow guidelines listed in document or send to Mr. Kerrigan* The criteria for selection are as follows: The student must be a resident of Mount Olive Township. The student must be active in church, community, school and family activities and be making an impact on Candidates with a leadership role will be given preference. The student must be in the top third (1/3) of their class. 500-word essay must be written addressing the following question: Why do I deserve this scholarship? How do I meet the desired criteria? What impact have you made?
FBLA Scholarship	Must be an active member of FBLA and planning to major in business in college.
Flanders PTA Scholarship	Graduating senior of Mount Olive High School who graduated from Mountain View Elementary School. Show community and school involvement for four years of high school. Must have definite plans to further your education. Must complete the application including the essay requirement.
Mount Olive Soccer Club Jennifer L. Cialone Memorial Scholarship	The Mount Olive Soccer Club awards a total of $2,000 annually in scholarship funds for two students that will be graduating each year. This scholarship, which started in the spring of 2005, is dedicated to the memory of Jennifer L. Cialone a member of the Mount Olive Soccer Club whose commitment to academics, community and the game of soccer is so proudly named. Graduating seniors who have actively participated in the Mount Olive Soccer Club for at least three (3) years or six (6) seasons, and who have met college entrance requirements are eligible. Amount of Scholarship The amount of the scholarship will be $2,000.00 for each recipient. Funds for any additions to this amount will come from club fundraisers and be voted on by the club officers. The scholarship will be issued one time for each recipient and will be nonrenewable. Scholarship Committee The Scholarship Committee shall consist of four (4) members appointed by the Mount Olive Soccer Club Board of Directors. The Club President shall appoint this committee no later than the March general meeting. A committee member may not have a relative participating in the Mount Olive Soccer Club as a senior in high school during their term on the committee. Instructions for completing and submitting application 1. Complete entire scholarship application form (Attached) 2. Teacher evaluation forms – must be completed by two (2) separate teachers 3. Scholastic report – must be completed by a high school counselor 4. Completed applications must be submitted to the Club President or mailed with a postmark no later than April 15th of the current year. MOHS Diamond Club Scholarship	Awarded to students attending a 2/4 year college or a Business/Trade School on a Full-Time basis. Student must graduate this school year. Attended Mount Olive High School and participated in the MOHS baseball program for a minimum of (2) full years. Must have participated in their senior year of high school. This application must be completed following the guidelines established. *Follows separate deadline of May 8th
MOMS PTO Scholarship	Graduating senior of Mount Olive High School who attended Mount Olive Middle School Must have definite plans to further your education Open to students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th deciles of the senior class (others need not apply). Must complete the application including the essay requirement
George Tyree Memorial Scholarship	Student must be a leader in the school and has volunteered their time to the community. Must have at least a 3.0 gpa and participation in clubs/sports.
Joseph DeFeo Scholarship	Student must be in the top 50% of the senior class and have an engineering/technology focus.
Joseph Barish Memorial Scholarship	Must be applying to/plan on attending a 4 year college Must be male Student must write an essay on mental health
Kiwanis Scholarship	The Kiwanis Club of Mt. Olive Township has continued its support of our local youth by providing scholarships for almost 20 years to deserving Mt. Olive High School seniors who have chosen to further their education- whether those plans involve four-year college, community college or a trade school. The scholarship awards are weighted heavily on community service, but also include academic excellence and extracurricular activities, particularly volunteering through Key Club.
Knights of Columbus, Fr. Joseph A. Cassidy Council 6100, Thomas Christopher DeLalla Memorial Scholarship	*Scholarship follows separate deadline/process. Please email submissions in pdf format to 6100scholarships@gmail.com by April 21st* All applicants must be a resident of Mount Olive Township or a child of any Council 6100 member and are appraised on dedicated commitment and leadership in organizations or activities to benefit others, the community and the youth of Mount Olive Township. Special consideration will be given for leadership and participation in activities and programs which directly benefit local community youth organizations (e.g. religious organizations, squires, youth group, sports, scouting, other youth based organizations).
Knights of Columbus, Fr. Joseph A. Cassidy Council 6100 Scholarship	*Scholarship follows separate deadline/process. Please email submissions in pdf format to 6100scholarships@gmail.com by April 21st* All applicants must be a resident of Mount Olive Township, attend Mt. Olive HS or a child of any Council 6100 member. Faith based activities are a requirement for consideration for this scholarship. Applicants will be appraised on 5 categories: Scholastic Achievement, Faith Based activities, Community activities, Extra-Curricular activities and Essay
Knights of Columbus, Council 6100 Trades Scholarship	*Scholarship follows separate deadline/process. Please email submissions in pdf format to 6100scholarships@gmail.com by April 21st* All applicants must be a resident of Mount Olive Township, attend Mount Olive High School, Morris County Vocational School District, or a child/grandchild of a council 6100 member. Applicants must have a C average or better and are appraised on 4 Categories; Church/Religious Institution activities, Community Activities, Extra Curricular Activities, and Essay.
Luke Heeman Citizenship Award	Seniors in the top 40% of their class who have demonstrated good citizenship, dedication, and leadership to the organizations and activities they are involved in, whether it is school/community/religious or helping someone else. Must place GPA on application. (NAME REQUIRED)
Mount Olive Chamber of Commerce Scholarship	Future college major in a business related field & complete application which includes grades, gpa, activities, and essay from a list of topics.
MOHS Cheer Scholarship	Must be a graduating MOHS cheerleader and answer an essay on how cheer has helped them.
Mount Olive High Football Parents Booster Club Scholarship	· Awarded to students attending a 2/4 year University, College or a Business/Trade School on a Full-Time basis. · Student must graduate this school year. · Attended Mt Olive High School and participated in the football program for a minimum of (2) full years. Must have participated in their Senior year.
Mt. Olive Administrators & Supervisors Association Scholarship	Seniors who plan to major in education and who have demonstrated good citizenship and commitment to school and community.
MOHS Boys Lacrosse Club Scholarship	To be eligible to apply, candidate has played/been on the roster all four years of High School (*unless he moved into district during High School) and has fulfilled the volunteer requirement as outlined by MOHS Boys Lax Booster Club. For questions regarding eligibility, please contact a booster club board member @mohsplc@gmail.com
MOHS Parent Club Scholarship	The students family must be/have been members of the MOHS Parents Club for all 4 years and you must complete the application along with 2 essay topics.
Mount Olive Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #122 Scholarship	Senior who is going to college for a career in public service (i.e. criminal justice, military, medical fields, or social service). (NAME REQUIRED)
Mt. Olive Township Police Athletic League Scholarship	Senior who plans to enter a career in public service (i.e. criminal justice, military, medical fields, or social service). (NAME REQUIRED)
Thomas Shields Memorial Scholarship	Seniors who have demonstrated involvement with extracurricular activities and community service. Grades and standardized test scores are considered, but all students are encouraged to apply.
Turkey Trot Scholarship	Students are asked to write an essay reflecting on the question: “What role does community, family, and tradition play in your life and how has it shaped your values and goals?” Submissions should be sent to ktiman@lvhs.org with the student’s guidance counselor copied, on or before April 15, 2026
SDK Village Green and SDK Foundation for Human Dignity Scholarship	Seniors who have demonstrated merit, strong academics, and participation in community events. (NAME REQUIRED).
STEP NJ Scholarships	*Follows separate deadline of May 10th, please see website for more details Skilled Trades Empowerment Program awards scholarships throughout the school year to students who live in New Jersey and are looking to pursue a post-secondary education in the skilled trades. Scholarship recipients will be awarded $2,000 that can be applied towards their future educational training in their chosen trade.
