The Mount Olive High School Guidance Department hosted the first Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship Fair on November 12th 2025. In collaboration with th The Workforce Development Board of Northwest New Jersey, more than 300 students from schools across the region came to Mount Olive for a day dedicated to skilled trades and apprenticeship opportunities.
With 34 local businesses in attendance, students had the chance to learn firsthand about career paths in trades. Several companies gave small-group presentations, connecting directly with students about apprenticeships, hands-on training, and future employment.
Assemblyman Mike Iganamort and Mt. Olive Township Mayor Joe Nicastro were in attendance and their presence added immense value and inspiration to our day.
