National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Students (Fall of 2024)

Each year, nearly 1.3 million students from approximately 21,000 high schools enter the National Merit Scholarship Program by sitting for the PSAT/NMSQT (and meeting other program entry requirements). About 34,000 students are recognized as COMMENDED STUDENTS for their exceptional academic promise as a result of their performance on the PSATs they took last Fall. These students were among the top 50,000 scorers on the test. This makes them in the top 4% of all students who took the test in 2024. This year Mount Olive High School had 3 students qualify for this designation.

They are, in alphabetical order: BLESSING ANYANGWE, THOMAZ HONDA, ANGELINA WANG They are all pictured below with School Counselor, Mr. Kerrigan and Mr. Stansberry, our Principal. Please join me in congratulating them! We are very proud of their efforts and achievements!
