Valedictorian -- Blessing A. Anyangwe
Salutatorian -- Tanusha Dsouza
Blessing Anyangwe has earned the standing of Valedictorian for the Class of 2025
Blessing is the daughter of Gilbert and Martha Throughout her time at Mount Olive High School, Blessing has distinguished herself through academic excellence, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to service. On campus, she served as Class Council Secretary and Med Club Secretary, and led as President of the Technology Student Association (TSA). She was the Science League Outreach Coordinator, and an active member of multiple honor societies, including the Science National Honor Society (SNHS), World Language Honor Society (WLHS), National English Honor Society (NEHS), National Math Honor Society (NMHS), and Rho Kappa. She was also an IMPACT Presenter for the Mount Olive Robotics Team, earned the Seal of Biliteracy in French, and participated in HOSA, FBLA, and Rock and Roll Academy as a vocalist and keyboardist. In addition, she was a member of the varsity softball team during her freshman and sophomore years. Outside of high school, Blessing was selected for the prestigious New Jersey Governor’s School in the Sciences and participated in the New Jersey Governor’s STEM Scholars program. She served as a Youth Ambassador for the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, volunteered with her church, and advocated globally as a UNICEF Junior Youth Advocate. She was a Coca-Cola Scholarship Semifinalist, and contributed meaningfully to New Jersey FBLA, serving on the Community Service Committee and stepping up as Interim Community Service Vice President. Blessing’s extraordinary accomplishments reflect her dedication, compassion, and leadership. She leaves Mount Olive High School with a legacy of excellence and service and is well-prepared to make a meaningful impact in the world. Next year, Blessing will attend Johns Hopkins University as a Hodson Scholar, where she will pursue a major in Chemistry and Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering on the Pre-Med track.
Tanusha Dsouza has earned the standing of Salutatorian for the Class of 2025
Tanusha is the daughter of Anthony & Nimal Tanusha has made a lasting impact at Mount Olive High School through academic excellence, leadership, and meaningful involvement in both STEM and athletics. A dedicated member of the Mount Olive Robotics Team and the Mount Olive Swim Team, Tanusha has balanced rigorous academics with extracurricular success. She served as Treasurer of the Science National Honor Society and as Vice President of French for the World Language Honor Society, reflecting both her leadership and academic versatility. In addition, she was an active member of the Technological Student Association (TSA) and the Math Honor Society, where she continued to challenge herself and support her peers. This fall, Tanusha will attend the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) as part of the Albert Dorman Honors College, where she will major in Mechanical Engineering. Tanusha’s thoughtful leadership, team spirit, and commitment to excellence have set her apart. As Salutatorian, she represents the strength and character of the Class of 2025 and leaves Mount Olive High School well-prepared to take on new challenges and make a difference in the world.
